چکیده

Pathogenic memory T cells are implicated in the local of chronic skin diseases. The factors underlying their persistence and function human resolved epidermis not understood. Lipid composition transcriptional programs lipid metabolism known to be altered active non-lesional psoriasis, faculty resident uptake fatty acids is essential survival. Here, we wished correlate functionality epidermal psoriasis patients using transcriptomic data. Skin biopsies from with were collected both on non-involved (non-lesional) areas, as well healthy controls. Flow cytometry was performed cell suspension controls, assessment surface markers cytokine production. activated explants pan T-cell agonist OKT-3 compared an IgG2a control. RNA purified compartment analyzed by a custom panel Nanostring focused inflammatory metabolism. In epidermis, proportion expressing checkpoint inhibitor PD1+ among negatively correlated expression transcripts LTB4R PTGES2 suggesting involvement immune regulation. receptor pro-inflammatory leukotriene LTB4 its decreased skin. Furthermore, ex vivo activation but induced IL10 IDO1 level this upregulation positively baseline LTB4R. Altogether, our data suggest link between regulation present epidermis.

Altered Expression of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) in Glioma

EGFR is a key molecule in cancer cells. EGFR signaling was shown to promote tumor cell proliferation and survival, invasion and angiogenesis and mediate resistance to treatment, including ionizing radiation in preclinical models. We extracted proteins from astrocytoma (III and IV) oligodendroglioma(IV) tumors and normal brain tissues and then evaluated the protein purity by Bradford test ...

Comparison of the Expression Intensity of Estrogen Receptor Marker in Oral and Cutaneous Pemphigus Vulgaris

Background and aim: Pemphigus vulgaris (PV) is an autoimmune disorder that can clinically manifest as oral mucosal ulcers. Several researchers believe that the level of female sex hormones such as estrogen and progesterone could be effective in the pathogenesis and growth of lesions such as desquamative gingivitis. Studies related to oral ulcers have revealed contradictory results regarding the...

Evaluation of Nucleostemin Gene Expression as a New Molecular Marker in Breast Tumors

Background & Aims: Nucleostemin is one of the stem cell enriched proteins which encodes a novel nucleolar GTP-binding protein found at high levels in the adult and embryonic stem (ES) cells but not in terminally differentiated cells. It is also expressed in tumor cell lines as well as in the several types of human cancers. Due to the increasing rate of breast cancer in recent years, in the pres...
